Schecter Tele, Black
Mark bought this Tele (serial number S8421) from Rudy's Music Stop in 1980*. Later the black scratchplate was replaced with white one.
Often used for a 'heavier' sound combined with a Boogie Mk III top and a Marshall 4 x 12 (with EVs). It can be heard on the title track of Willy DeVille's Miracle album.** Also Mark used it live on Solid Rock (1980-1986), Telegraph Road (1981), Two Young Lovers (1985-1986).

Schecter Tele, Vermillion Red
It is a custom guitar (serial number S8703) was built by Richard "Obe" Oblinger (who ran the Schecter Custom Shop in Van Nuys) in 1984*.
The guitar was used on the soundtrack Cal and during The Notting Hillbillines tour 1990. Mark still uses it on Walk of Life.
